Haven Manor is a company rooted in Lincoln. Since first opening in March of 1982, Haven Manor has served over 2000 people at 8 different locations throughout the city. Owned by Gus Peach and Del Dueck, the company continues to expand into surrounding Nebraska cities, with a steadfast focus on providing the best care in the most caring way.

As Assisted Living has grown and evolved, the industry has experienced a number of changes. Our nearly 25 years in the industry has taught us one thing: the only thing that will always matter is how well we treat people. Buildings come and go, but relationships with people last forever.

March 1982 - The first facility (later known as Haven Manor # 1) at 3246 "S" Street was purchased by Gus and Marilyn Peach. In the beginning, Haven Manor had eleven residents and two part-time employees. Mrs. Peach, who is now retired, had experience as a Registered Nurse in geriatric care upper management. With Mrs. Peach's background, the level of services and personal care available to the residents was upgraded. The main focus of the business was changed to "Residential Care"...assisted living.

4610 Adams Street, known as Haven Manor (HM # 2), was remodeled and opened to accept residents by November, 1983.

Haven Manor constructed a facility at 455 South 25th Street, later known as Haven Manor (HM # 3). The new facility for 15 residents was opened in November, 1985 as the company strove to offer the best of services and most competent staff. It included a meeting area for training in the lower level.

December 1986 - The garden level of HM # 3 was changed to as an eight-bed facility (then known as Haven Manor # 4).

April 1994 - Haven Manor opened a facility in the Havelock District at 6330 Platte Avenue now known as Haven Manor Havelock (HM # 6). The new facility for 30 residents was a beautiful addition to the other Haven Manor facilities.

June 1998 – Haven Manor opened a newly constructed facility at 4800 South 48th St. now known as Haven Manor College View North (HM # 7). The facility was built with spacious room for 30 residents.

November 1998 – Haven Manor opened a newly constructed another facility in College View, at 4900 South 48th St. now known as Haven Manor College View South (HM #8). The new facility was built for 26 residents.

January 2006 – Haven Manor opened their firs facility outside of Lincoln in Hickman, Nebraska. Known as Haven Manor Hickman (HM # 9), the facility has 32 suites and one bedroom apartments. Designed to support independent and assisted living, expanded accomodations include a theatre, gym, medical clinic and more.

Haven Manors 1-4 have since been closed as Haven Manor aims to fulfill residents' desires, interests, and changing needs.

Construction of additional facilities in the area will hopefully be completed within the next three years. Great things are happening at Haven Manor and we’ll hope you’ll be part of it!
