Does Haven Manor have apartments?
Our new Hickman facility offers apartments with or without patios. These apartments also come with two sizes of bathrooms. The Lincoln facilities offer a wide variety of suite choices with private showers.

What about getting around
your facility - my eyesight isn't good anymore?
Our facilities are all on one level so stairs
won't be a barrier. We also have staff who
will be happy to assist you to activities,
meals, etc. Our facilities are smaller so
it is very easy to get around.

Does Haven Manor have personal
kitchens or kitchenettes for the residents?
The new Hickman facility offers a walk through kitchen that includes a disposal, microwave and large refrigerator/freezer. All Haven Manor facilities offer 3 full meals a day plus 2 snacks thus making the “cooking” part of your life much easier! We welcome all special diets and will take the worry out of meeting your personal day to day needs.

Does Haven Manor provide
transportation?
Transportation choices vary amongst the facilities and the type of transportation needed. Choices include Transport Plus, Handivan or transportation through Haven Manor. Various charges shall be incurred depending on type of transportation needed and need of staff to accompany a resident. An individual wishing to come to Haven Manor should not let transportation needs stand in their way.

Does Haven Manor do outside
activities?
Yes, we have outings to restaurants, the
zoo, parks, van rides, fishing
trips, and many other outings. We also have
outside entertainment come into the facilities
to perform, whether it’s dancers, singers,
or polka bands. We love having fun here!

What are the breakfast hours?
I like to sleep in so do I have to be up early?
We have an open breakfast time. If you like
to sleep in, we're happy to serve you at the
time you get up. If you’re an early
riser, you don’t have to wait until
everyone else is up, either.

How much does it cost to
stay at Haven Manor and how do you determine
the cost?
Our nurse is happy to provide a free assessment.
She'll come to you at your home, a facility
or where ever. Cost is based on these assessments,
so it will vary depending on how much assistance
you require.

Is there a move in fee and
is it refundable?
Haven Manor does not require a large buy
in or deposit. We do require a $150 administrative
fee, which is not refundable.

What happens when they have
no more money?
We love to keep our residents here as long
as possible to allow them to age in place
without the hassles of moving around. However,
we cannot guarantee a Medicaid Waiver slot
will be available when they run out of money.
We currently have a long waiting list for
Medicaid Waiver residents. If we do not have
a room available for Medicaid Waiver we will
help you find placement.
